Metal roofs are designed to perform for decades with minimal maintenance. Unlike asphalt shingles, there are no organic compounds to degrade (or feed microorganism growths), ensuring more consistent performance over time.
No building system is truly “maintenance free,” however. Some periodic inspections and preventative maintenance are necessary to protect your investment.
