Shawn Kirk joined Gulf Coast in November 2017 as operations manager. He was promoted to director of manufacturing operations in July 2018 and was again promoted to vice president of operations in March 2021. Prior to joining Gulf Coast, Kirk was regional director of manufacturing and plant manager for a building product company. His vision in his current role is to provide a safe work environment so associates can earn a living while growing and developing with the organization. He also hopes to continue to lead and grow the business to further expand its footprint. 

Kirk attended Lakeland College while majoring in business administration.
