Gulf Coast Supply & Manufacturing (“Gulf Coast Supply”), the trusted name for metal roofing for 25 years, recently celebrated a safety milestone as the company’s Montgomery, Ala. location passed the one-year mark without a recordable incident. This safety achievement spanned both 2021 and 2022.
Shawn Kirk, Gulf Coast Supply’s Vice President of Operations, says the Montgomery location “has now achieved a primary metric around our top priority, for its first time – Safety. These kinds of achievements take a significant commitment from our leadership and team members to achieve.”
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) defines a recordable as any work-related injury or illness that requires medical treatment beyond first aid or results in loss of consciousness, days away from work, restricted work or transfer to another job.
